Public Notice: Opening on the Richfield Joint Recreation District Board
The Village of Richfield is accepting applications for an appointment to the Richfield Joint Recreation District Board of Trustees.
This volunteer board oversees and supports the operation, maintenance, and programming of the Richfield Heritage Preserve and other recreational initiatives within the district.
The term for this appointment is for a three year term, beginning January 1, 2026.
Eligibility:
Applicants may be residents of the Village or may be residents from political subdivisions outside both Richfield Village and Richfield Township. You must have an interest in parks, recreation and natural resource management or community engagement.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending regular and special board meetings.
- Participating in planning and policy discussions.
- Helping guide the vision and stewardship of the Richfield Heritage Preserve and other potential park properties.
