Notice the markings on trees around town?
FirstEnergy/Ohio Edison has contracted Arbormetrics to conduct vegetation maintenance for the Village. This is a regular process that occurs every four years. Starting this month the right-of-way will be evaluated, based on their findings the trees will be marked with paint to instruct on tree trimming/cutting. The paint washes off within a few months.
The actual tree trimming process will not take place until sometime during the Winter of 2024. Arbormetrics will notify the homeowners with a green door hanger if their tree is to be worked on in the Winter.
