Volunteer Opportunities:

We have many volunteer opportunities for everyone, do want to earn volunteer hours for school credit, senior final exam, or do you just want to help your community? There are the following opportunities and many more! Fill out the Form to the right and send it us or call us and tell us what your interests are, there are always many opportunities throughout the Village of Richfield throughout the year!

Revere High School Senior Volunteer Opportunity

Easter Egg Stuffers! March 10 9:30 am
We need help putting candy and prizes into the plastic eggs for the annual Easter Egs Hunt. We have 2000 eggs that need filled. We will have donuts to snack on. So let us know by Feb 15, so we can plan on your help.

Fall/Winter Volunteer Opportunities
Are you interested in volunteering for a special event or during the Fall/Winter? Volunteer opportunities are available for our Haunted Rec and Sundae with Santa events!

The Haunted Rec
Do you love Halloween? Do like to dress up in Halloween costumes and scare people? Are you creative and would like to help build the Haunted Rec scenes? Do you need volunteer hours and want to have fun earning them, then the Haunted Rec is for you!

At the Haunted Rec you will help set up the Haunted Rec, building and decorating scaring rooms on Saturday and Sunday, until we are finished. You can come and volunteer all day or just the morning or afternoon. The Haunted Rec will take place on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday.  Clean-up will be the following morning on Sunday the more people we have for clean-up the faster it will go. We are need of many volunteers for this year's Haunted Rec, we are requesting for volunteers that are at least 12 years of age. All those that are planning on scaring must help with the set-up or clean-up of the Haunted Rec.

ADULTS Needed too! Do you love Halloween, we can use your help also!

Ice Skating Rink

We need volunteers to help put up the rink and also to help take the rink down at the end of the season

Richfield Tree Lighting

We need volunteers to help with decorating the Christmas Tree and the Masonic Hall.

Sundae with Santa

We need volunteers to help with crafts, Ice cream sundaes, set up and many other things

Are you interested in volunteering for a special event or during the Spring and Summer? We have many volunteer opportunities available for our Spring and Summer events and programs. We need volunteers for many of our programs such as:

Community Garden

Do you like the outdoors? Do you enjoy a little manual labor? Our Community Garden has yearly needs to prepare the area for the growing season, to keep the gardens looking good from the outside, so the gardens beauty can shine through!

Community Day and Parade

This Weekend is a family fun filled event but we always need help in preparing for it, setting it up, running it and of course taking it down, and without volunteers it would hard to get it to run so smoothly.

Farmer's Market

Every Wednesday From June to October the farmer market on the village green we need help in setting up the booths, signs and area.

Richfield Easter Egg Hunt

Volunteers Needed to help stuff plastic eggs for the Egg Hunt, we have thousands of eggs and they all need to be filled. We are also in need of a volunteer to be the Easter Bunny in our costume.

 Spring Summer Volunteer Opportunities

Summer Volunteer Opportunities

Summer Day Camp
Volunteers must be willing to work all day, no half day positions, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, we would like you arrive at camp before the campers arrive and stay and prepare for the next day after the campers leave. You can volunteer for one week of our 7 weeks or for the entire 7 week camp. The Recreation Center is need of many volunteers for our summer programs, hours volunteered can be counted towards high school credit. All volunteers will receive a certificate specifying the hours of service they have performed for the Recreation Department. Volunteers need to be at least Age 14 to serve at Day Camp.

Summer Carnival
Along with the Summer Day Camp we need help with our Summer Carnival from 11:00am to 3:30pm. Summer Carnival is a day full of food, fun and games to kick off the summer for children between the ages of 2-10 years old. It is at Johnson Barn and would consist of you setting up, running and taking down games. During this time you will get a break or two to eat and enjoy the day yourself!
